Eucrites

Eucrites are a type of achondritic stony meteorite that originates from the asteroid 4 Vesta. They are composed primarily of pyroxene and plagioclase minerals, with smaller amounts of olivine and metallic nickel-iron. Eucrites are known for their distinct basaltic texture and crystalline structure, and are thought to have formed from solidified magma on the surface of Vesta. These meteorites are important for studying the geology and composition of both Vesta and the early solar system.
