Early Christian Beliefs
Early Christian beliefs refer to the foundational theological doctrines held by followers of Jesus Christ in the formative years of the Christian faith, generally considered to be the first few centuries after the death and resurrection of Jesus. These beliefs encompass core tenets such as the divinity of Jesus, the concept of the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), the belief in the resurrection of Jesus, salvation through faith, the authority of Scripture, and the establishment of the church as the body of Christ. Early Christians also held beliefs regarding eschatology, the nature of sin, the importance of baptism and the Eucharist, and the role of the church in spreading the gospel message.
