Doric Temples

Doric Temples are a style of ancient Greek temple architecture characterized by simple, sturdy columns with no bases, fluted shafts, and simple capitals with a square abacus. These temples typically have a pedimented roof supported by the columns, and are known for their symmetry and proportionality. The Doric order is one of the three classical orders of ancient Greek architecture, along with the Ionic and Corinthian orders.
