Dixieland Jazz
Dixieland Jazz is a style of jazz music that originated in New Orleans in the early 20th century. Known for its upbeat tempo, improvisational solos, and use of brass instruments, Dixieland Jazz often features a front line of trumpet, clarinet, and trombone players supported by a rhythm section of piano, banjo, and drums. This genre is characterized by its lively and energetic performances, incorporating elements of blues, ragtime, and marching band music.
