Diurnal Species
Diurnal species are animals that are primarily active during the day, as opposed to being active mainly at night (nocturnal) or during twilight hours (crepuscular). These animals have adapted to the diurnal lifestyle by having heightened senses during the day, such as excellent vision and color perception. They often rest or sleep during the night to conserve energy for their daytime activities. Many diurnal species include birds, insects, and some mammals.
