Diurnal Mammals

Diurnal mammals are animals that are primarily active during the daytime hours. These mammals have adapted to forage, hunt, and socialize during daylight, while resting or sleeping at night. Their behavior and physiology are optimized for functioning in the bright light of day, with keen senses such as sight and hearing to navigate their environment and interact with other diurnal species. Examples of diurnal mammals include squirrels, monkeys, and deer.
