Democracy
Democracy is a form of government in which the power to govern is vested in the hands of the people. It is characterized by free and fair elections, where citizens have the opportunity to participate in decision-making processes and hold their leaders accountable. Democracy is founded on principles of equality, freedom of speech, and the protection of individual rights. In a democratic system, the majority rule, but minority rights are also protected. This form of government aims to promote transparency, inclusivity, and civic engagement among its citizens.
