Cyclothymias
Cyclothymias are a type of mood disorder characterized by alternating periods of hypomania and mild depression. Individuals with cyclothymia experience mood swings that are less severe than those seen in bipolar disorder, with hypomanic episodes marked by elevated mood, increased energy, and impulsivity, and depressive episodes characterized by sadness, fatigue, and feelings of worthlessness. These mood shifts may occur frequently and can have a significant impact on daily functioning and relationships.
