Crystallographers

Crystallographers are scientists who study the arrangement of atoms in solids. They use X-ray crystallography and other analytical techniques to determine the crystal structure of various materials, including minerals, metals, and biological molecules. Crystallographers analyze the patterns formed by X-rays as they pass through a crystal sample to reveal details about the atomic structure and bonding within the material. Their work is essential for understanding the physical and chemical properties of materials and developing new technologies in fields such as materials science, chemistry, and biophysics.
