Cryptozoology
Cryptozoology is the study of mythical creatures, legendary beings, and animals that are believed to exist based on anecdotal evidence, folklore, or alleged sightings, but have not been proven to exist by mainstream science. Researchers in this field investigate reports of cryptids such as Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, and the Chupacabra in an effort to gather evidence and determine the credibility of these claims. Cryptozoology combines elements of zoology, folklore, and fringe science in an attempt to uncover the truth behind these mysterious creatures.
