Cornerbacks

Cornerbacks are defensive players in American football and Canadian football who are responsible for covering wide receivers and preventing them from catching passes. They typically line up on the outside edges of the defensive formation, opposite the offensive wide receivers. Cornerbacks must possess speed, agility, and good reflexes to keep up with fast receivers and react quickly to changing plays. They are also skilled at reading the quarterback's movements and anticipating where the ball will be thrown. Cornerbacks play a key role in disrupting passing plays and forcing turnovers by intercepting passes or deflecting the ball away from receivers.
