Comprehensive Income
Comprehensive Income refers to the total change in equity of a business enterprise during a specified period from transactions and other events and circumstances from non-owner sources. It includes all revenues, expenses, gains, and losses that affect shareholders' equity but are not included in net income. Comprehensive income provides a more complete picture of a company's financial performance than net income alone.
