Compound Sentences
Compound sentences are made up of two or more independent clauses that are joined together by coordinating conjunctions, semicolons, or colons. Each clause in a compound sentence can stand alone as a complete sentence, but they are linked together to show a relationship between ideas. These sentences allow for the expression of complex thoughts and relationships between different pieces of information.
