Chinese Languages
Chinese languages refer to a group of related languages spoken by the Han Chinese people in China and various other parts of the world. These languages are classified into several different dialect groups, with Mandarin being the most widely spoken and standardized form. Other major dialect groups include Wu, Yue (Cantonese), Min, and Hakka. Each dialect group may have further variations and regional accents. Chinese languages are known for their tonal nature, with the meaning of a word often changing based on the tone in which it is spoken. Written Chinese is based on characters rather than an alphabet, with each character representing a particular word or concept.
