Efforts aimed at protecting and preserving the population of chimpanzees in their natural habitats, as well as addressing threats to their survival such as habitat destruction, poaching, and disease. Conservation initiatives may include habitat restoration, anti-poaching patrols, community education, research on chimpanzee behavior and ecology, and partnerships with local communities and governments to promote sustainable coexistence with these endangered primates.
