Chemical Engineering
Chemical engineering is a branch of engineering that applies physical sciences (such as chemistry and physics) and life sciences (such as biology, microbiology, and biochemistry) together with mathematics and economics to process, transform, transport, and properly utilize chemicals, materials, and energy. Chemical engineers are involved in various industries such as pharmaceuticals, petroleum refining, food processing, and environmental engineering. They design processes and equipment for large-scale manufacturing, plan and test production methods, and ensure the quality of the final product.
