Ceratopsian Dinosaurs
Ceratopsian dinosaurs were a group of herbivorous dinosaurs that lived during the late Cretaceous period. They were characterized by their beak-like mouths, frilled necks, and elaborate horns and crests on their skulls. Some well-known ceratopsians include Triceratops, Styracosaurus, and Protoceratops. These dinosaurs were primarily quadrupedal and ranged in size from small, dog-sized species to large, rhinoceros-like creatures. Ceratopsians were diverse in their anatomy and behavior, with some species being solitary while others may have lived in herds.
