Cell Division Cell Cycle

The process by which a cell divides into two daughter cells, each containing a complete set of chromosomes. This cycle consists of multiple phases, including interphase (where the cell grows and duplicates its DNA), mitosis (where the duplicated DNA is divided into two nuclei), and cytokinesis (where the cytoplasm divides, resulting in two separate cells). The cell division cell cycle is critical for growth, development, and repair of multicellular organisms.
