Cassiterites
Cassiterites are minerals composed of tin dioxide, typically found in granitic pegmatites and hydrothermal veins. They are typically opaque and brownish-black in color, but can also occur in shades of red, yellow, or gray. Cassiterites are the primary ore of tin and are commonly used in the production of tin metal and various tin compounds.
