Cassegrain Reflector
A Cassegrain reflector is a type of reflecting telescope design that utilizes a combination of a primary concave mirror and a secondary convex mirror to focus light and form an image. The primary mirror reflects incoming light to a focus point behind the mirror, where the secondary mirror then reflects the light back through a hole in the center of the primary mirror. This design allows for a longer focal length in a more compact telescope, resulting in high magnification and resolution for astronomical observations.
