Bluebeards
Bluebeards are fictional characters in folklore and literature known for their blue beards. These figures are often depicted as wealthy, mysterious men who marry multiple women and then murder them. The most famous Bluebeard is from the French fairy tale "Bluebeard" by Charles Perrault, in which he locks away his wives in a secret room. The term "Bluebeard" has since been used to refer to any man who is considered to be controlling or abusive in relationships.
