Batrachians
Batrachians, also known as amphibians, are cold-blooded vertebrate animals that typically have moist skin, lay eggs in water, and undergo metamorphosis from a larval stage (such as a tadpole) to an adult form. They are characterized by their ability to live both on land and in water, and most species require a moist environment to survive. Batrachians include frogs, toads, salamanders, and newts, and play important roles in ecosystems as both predators and prey.
