Barn Swallows Animals
Barn swallows are small, agile birds with distinctive long, forked tails and pointed wings. They have a dark, glossy blue back, red face and throat, and pale underparts. Barn swallows are known for their graceful flight patterns, often swooping and diving in pursuit of insects. They are commonly found near open fields, meadows, and bodies of water where they build their cup-shaped nests out of mud and grass. Barn swallows are migratory birds, traveling long distances between their breeding and wintering grounds. These birds are highly social and often seen in large groups during migration.
