Aztec Government
The Aztec Government was a complex system of rulers, nobles, and councils that governed the Aztec Empire in ancient Mesoamerica. The government was led by an emperor, who held ultimate power and authority. Beneath the emperor were various officials, including nobles and priests, who helped to administer the empire and enforce its laws. The government also included a council of elders, known as the Tlatoani, who advised the emperor on important decisions. The Aztec Government was highly centralized and hierarchical, with power and authority flowing from the emperor down through the nobility to the common people.
