Arhatship
Arhatship refers to the state of being an Arhat, which is a term in Buddhism used to describe a person who has attained enlightenment and has overcome the cycle of birth and death. Arhats are considered to be free from all mental defilements and have achieved a state of perfect wisdom and compassion. They are revered for their spiritual attainment and are seen as examples for others to follow on the path to enlightenment.
