Arachnid Harvestmen
Arachnid Harvestmen, also known as daddy longlegs, are a group of arachnids characterized by their long, thin legs and small, rounded bodies. They are not true spiders, as they belong to the order Opiliones, distinct from spiders which belong to the order Araneae. Harvestmen are omnivorous, feeding on a variety of insects, plants, and decaying organic matter. They are typically found in moist environments such as leaf litter, caves, and under rocks. Harvestmen are known for their unique defensive behavior of autotomy, where they can detach their legs when threatened by a predator.
