Apologetics

Apologetics is the branch of theology and philosophy that seeks to defend and justify religious beliefs, typically those of a specific faith, through the use of reasoned arguments and evidence. Apologists engage in debates and discussions with critics and skeptics in order to provide intellectual and rational explanations for the tenets of their faith. The goal of apologetics is to persuade others of the truth and validity of a particular religious belief system by addressing criticisms and objections in a logical and persuasive manner.
