Anurans
Anurans are a diverse group of amphibians characterized by their lack of tails as adults, typically smooth and moist skin, and long hind legs adapted for jumping. They undergo a metamorphosis from aquatic tadpoles to terrestrial adults, breathing through lungs as well as through their skin. Anurans include frogs and toads, and are found in a wide range of habitats worldwide.
