Antechoir
An antechoir is a space located in front of the choir in a church or cathedral, typically separated by a screen or railing. It is often used for clergy or choir members to prepare for services, store liturgical items, or provide additional seating during large ceremonies. The antechoir can also serve as a transitional area between the nave and the sanctuary, leading worshippers from the main body of the church to the more sacred space where the altar is located.
