Antarctic Tundras
Antarctic tundras are vast, treeless landscapes characterized by low temperatures, permafrost, and a thin layer of soil that supports only low-growing vegetation such as mosses, lichens, and grasses. These tundras are found in the polar regions of Antarctica and are home to a variety of cold-adapted animals such as penguins, seals, and birds.
