Animal Sound Production
The study of the vocalizations and sounds produced by animals as a means of communication, defense, mating, or establishing territory. This includes the various methods and mechanisms by which animals generate sound, such as vocal cords, air sacs, larynx, or specialized body parts. It also encompasses the analysis of the different types of sounds produced by animals, such as calls, songs, growls, roars, chirps, or howls, and the purposes they serve in the animal kingdom.
