Animal Gastrointestinal Testing
Animal gastrointestinal testing involves diagnostic procedures and tests that are performed on the digestive system of animals to assess their gastrointestinal health. These tests may include imaging studies such as x-rays and ultrasounds, endoscopic procedures to visualize the inside of the gastrointestinal tract, as well as laboratory tests to analyze samples of blood, feces, and other bodily fluids for signs of gastrointestinal diseases or disorders. The results of these tests help veterinarians identify and treat conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal infections, and malabsorption disorders in animals.
