Anemone Anatomy
Anemone anatomy refers to the physical structures and features that make up the body of anemones, which are marine animals belonging to the phylum Cnidaria. This includes their radial symmetry, tentacles with stinging cells called nematocysts, oral disc for feeding, pedal disc for attachment, column for support, and gastrovascular cavity for digestion. Anemone anatomy also encompasses specialized structures such as acontia for defense, mesenteries for internal support, and cnidocytes for capturing prey.
