Ancient Roman Gods
Ancient Roman Gods are deities worshipped by the ancient Romans in their polytheistic religion. These gods and goddesses represented various aspects of life and nature, embodying virtues, vices, and forces of the natural world. Some of the most well-known Roman gods include Jupiter, the king of gods and god of the sky and thunder; Juno, the queen of gods and goddess of marriage and childbirth; Neptune, the god of the sea; and Mars, the god of war. The Romans believed in appeasing these gods through rituals and sacrifices in order to gain their favor and protection.
