American Languages

American Languages refer to the diverse range of languages spoken by the indigenous peoples of North America, as well as those brought to the continent by European settlers and immigrants. These languages encompass a wide variety of linguistic families, including but not limited to Algonquian, Iroquoian, Siouan, and Uto-Aztecan. Additionally, American Languages may also include Creole languages that have developed in the United States, such as Gullah and Louisiana Creole. The rich tapestry of American Languages reflects the complex history and cultural diversity of the Americas.
