American Government Education

American Government Education involves the study of the principles, institutions, processes, and practices of the United States government. This includes topics such as the Constitution, the three branches of government (executive, legislative, judicial), elections and voting, political parties, civil rights and liberties, federalism, and public policy. Students learn about the roles and responsibilities of citizens in a democratic society, as well as the historical and contemporary issues that shape American politics. Through this education, individuals gain a deeper understanding of how the government operates and how they can participate in the democratic process.
