American Football Conferences
American Football Conferences refer to the divisions within the National Football League (NFL) that are made up of teams grouped together geographically or historically. Each conference is further divided into divisions, with teams competing against each other throughout the regular season to earn a spot in the playoffs. The conferences, known as the American Football Conference (AFC) and the National Football Conference (NFC), each consist of 16 teams and ultimately compete for the opportunity to play in the Super Bowl, the championship game of the NFL.
