African Literature
African Literature refers to the body of literary work produced by authors from Africa or those of African descent. It encompasses a wide range of genres including novels, short stories, poetry, plays, and oral traditions. Themes often explored in African literature include colonization, post-colonialism, cultural identity, social injustice, and the complexities of African history and society. Many African writers use their work to challenge stereotypes, highlight the diversity of African experiences, and give voice to marginalized communities.
