Adopted Granddaughter
An adopted granddaughter is a female child who has been legally taken in and raised as a grandchild by individuals who are not her biological grandparents. This relationship is established through a formal adoption process, in which the adoptive grandparents assume all rights and responsibilities for the care and upbringing of the child. The adopted granddaughter may have been placed for adoption for a variety of reasons, such as the inability of her biological parents to care for her, or a desire on the part of the adoptive grandparents to expand their family. Despite not sharing a genetic connection, the bond between an adopted granddaughter and her grandparents can be just as strong and meaningful as that between biological family members.
