Accordions

Accordions are musical instruments that belong to the free-reed aerophone family. They consist of a handheld bellows that is squeezed to push air through reeds, producing sound. Accordions typically have buttons or keys on one side to play melody notes and a series of buttons on the other side to play chords. They are commonly used in various styles of music, including folk, traditional, and popular genres. Accordions come in different sizes and configurations, such as piano accordions, button accordions, and chromatic accordions.
